12/11/18- Update

Since my diabetes diagnosis almost a month ago, I actually feel good! I was already making changes, but I made some more. My fasting blood sugar (the only one my doc has me checking for now) has gone way down already, and all I've done is cut down a little on carbs and committed to exercising at least 30 minutes a day. Plus I'm down more than ten pounds! It wasn't as hard as I was afraid it would be either, so I'm thankful for that. I actually feel a lot better physically too. Plus my friend is checking on me- we work out two or three times a week and it's nice to spend time with her!
