The Wake Up Call 280lbs

I left SP because it didn't synch with any other apps and that is annoying having to track everything twice. I made that decision at 250. I am back and set up my account again at 280 so I was missing two things that SP provides. The first thing is that I couldn't make a meal plan on my own I tried and either it wasn't enough food or it was no plan at all and I was ill in some way from my lack of knowledge. The other thing was the sense of community that i had with SP. I will have to build that up again but for now the sparkteams and message boards will have to do.
I had my wake up call this month. There were several things that happened that made me realize a change needed to be made.
1. I lost my jacket and had to get another one and I realized that an extra large jacket wouldn't work comfortably a normal hoodie like have used for previous winters would not be comfortable. I ended up getting a 3x jacket.
2. I started getting more out of breath from things that I did daily. I make the same 10 minute walk everyday on my commute to work. recently it has become harder and i need twice as long to make a walk that google says should take 9 minutes. On my commute home i have a 22 minute walk that takes me close to 40.
3. none of my largest clothes fit and the scale says 280.
Those were the major things that made me thing that I had to make a change. So, I threw away my bad junk food and I got a healthy meal plan from SP. I had to make several modifications but i am trying my best to stay within the options given but i don't eat soy and if i can have cheese i want pepper jack and i love a certain brand of mustard which they don't have. So far those are the only subs i have made that have not been on the list.
I honestly can't say that i am feeling motivated or excited. I am feeling only determined to not get to 300lbs and to not eat the one food I have a weakness for. I am hoping that results in some weight loss but honestly if I don't gain I will call it a win.
