I am wanting to quit but won’t

Monday, November 12, 2018

We spent 3 more hours at the police station on a Sunday afternoon. My husband and I are going to be on trial since my daughters defense is her mental impairment. We have been warned: first case of this nature in our county, this case will eventually be in the news, our case will be setting a precedent and new laws be written or revised to protect special needs individuals of this nature for the future. The prosecutor is trying all 3 men as separate cases but in one trial. 34 people from the housing complex has signed paperwork in support of my daughter and wanting a place they feel safe to live in. Once her mental impairment is used as evidence it will be proven she will be unable to live alone. We can’t afford the group home of 3500.00 a month or assisted living which costs are even higher. She was 1 mile from our house, and her job and these men took all of this away. Easy way is to stop going further but won’t
