Well it has been awhile since I have written here. I have been plugging along, some weeks better than others. I have been competing in the 5% challenges since last winter in hopes of getting the scale moving down again. It finally did over the summer. WOO-HOO! At the start of the Fall challenge I was sooooo excited. If I reach my goal weight I will be below 180 for the first time in 20 years. This was a big motivator for me when the challenge started, but the scale didn't move and then I allowed life to get in the way.
The past 3 weeks I have been off plan, but thankfully my weight has not gone up. I went to go visit my son and had a week were I was unfocused, started to get back on track and got sick. I am starting to feel better. I have my weekly meals and snacks planned out and am going shopping later today. I don't know when I will get back into full exercise mode as it is still difficult to breathe, but I am hoping that by Tuesday or Wednesday I will be feeling well enough for some easy exercise.
I may not make my goal this challenge but I am determined to finish strong and get as close as I can so that in the next challenge I will be in the 170s.
I want to apologize if I let my teammates down. Please know it was not intentional and I will do my best to be as active as possible the second half of this challenge.
