My distraction is to write

Wait. Weight. Sometimes I have to work on it, have patience for it. I try to Prepare and plan. Both are adding extra baggage and extra stress. Both can eventually take its toll on my body. This could take months to get results and work so hard and trusting the outcome to be the one I want. Hopefully positive results but need to be prepared for a backlash, results that can go against me and not for me. Every day is another day of choices. Each day I can decide to not take this any further and back away. Or a choice to work through the hurt and pain and endure. This week is another one of more appointments, interviews, testing, questioning, and rehashing. Having to prove guilty! I can look at pictures or even in the mirror of what I’ve done to allow my excess weight, which is hard to accept but guilty. Waiting for the weight to come off requires action just as waiting for the evidence to get a conviction requires action.

Choices present themselves to us daily. It can get frustrating at times. I have dealt with this myself many times. I encourage you to be gentle on yourself. Always remember, one good choice is better than none.
It may start out just making sure to have more veggies and fruit in your diet. That has become the one I have been working out.
I know you will work this out and find out what works best for you.
You can do this. You are the overcomer!

I not only take one day at a time, but one meal at a time. Yes this is hard. But you'll thank yourself in the end.
