But I remember that weekly weigh ins are the way to go. That our weight can fluctuate from the day to day....so will wait till Sat morning.
So far, doing well (but it is only the first 10 days) so hopefully this will become the routine, the lifestyle change that is going to make my goals happen.
One small hiccup, dh invited the neighbors over for dinner Sat night... They are bringing salad and dessert. I talked dh into a 'surf and turf'. So, will concentrate on the 'surf', veggies and salad...with only a bite of dessert...at least that is the plan.
The following Saturday, dh has planned a little family get together, His niece and nephew and former sis in law. They live in the area, and since we recently moved out here...it will be good to see them. It's been years. I will need a plan for that one.
I've also been avoiding restaurants. Dh takes his mom out weekly. She lives in a senior home locally, and he meets with her once a week. At least for the next 2 months...for the Fall Challenge...I am just going to have to skip these so I can have control over those calories. Just not ready to face those temptations.
Yesterday did great on my steps...over 10k. The secret? I lost my cell phone. So made trips to car to search...up and down stairs, a 'quadrant' search in every room ....had almost 4k steps before I went to work. (even searched refrigerator and cabinets since I made my lunch) Guess I should lose my phone every day, huh. We won't say where I found it...too embarrassing.
Now, if only I could find my water bottle and koozy from yesterday. ha!!
