Banish those mental blocks

This was a great article that I read this morning and much needed during my October challenge.
Breaking mental barriers is tough. Especially when you have struggled with it for so long.
I was looking at old pictures yesterday because 21 years ago on Oct. 4, I had the courage to ask my now hubby out on a date. We were paired up for my sisters wedding (of course I asked her to place me with him because he was so HOT!!!!) which had me smiling from ear to ear.
I was only 18 in this picture and as I looked at myself last night I saw a confident healthy girl. But back then, I was far from being healthy. I didn't eat right, or didn't eat at all. I didn't exercise. I wasn't taking care of my body.
Fast forward to today..... I try to take care of myself. I do struggle with eating right all the time but I workout everyday. So it does get frustrating to stay focused. You start thinking to yourself.... "well maybe this is the way I was meant to be". But it is not and turning around your mental blocks is the first step.
I know I can get down to feeling better about myself. I have been there before. My mind however wasn't fully trained so it brought me back to where I am today. So it is time to get my mind in order. I need to banish these mental blocks.
I am going to take this blog entry and really dig deep into the 9 barriers they listed because a lot of them applied to me. I'm hoping this will help me banish those mental blocks once and for all.
