Conclusion of the Summer 5% Challenge 2018

Saturday, August 25, 2018

So, last blog I was celebrating 11 years on SP followed by a break. I needed it, i had a lot going on. I came back for the Summer Challenge was losing weight, got less tha 3 lbs away from goal and then began to gain it back. Changes on the homefront (less hours at work and smoke filled air) led to less motivation and eating later at night than I should have been. That led to late nights just for the sake of proper digestion. The vicious cycle continued. I still have a goal to reach and I need to change my habits so I can reach that goal. Now more than ever, I believe it’s possible. I just need to stay the course. Hope you are doing great on your journey. Thanks in advance for stopping by!

Hi! I'm about where you are... was less than 10 lbs from re-reaching goal then went in the opposite direction. Work (my job, that is) has become my biggest issue, but we must find a way to overcome. I am currently regaining my focus and drive... hope we can all encourage each other! Let's do this! emoticon

For me, this health journey is always a struggle with periods of vacation. The best part of it is the being aware of where we are, what we need to do and to always be willing to stake steps to go there. The periods of vacation are those in which I've been at or close to the goal weight and maintained.

If I recall well, you are doing an outstanding job, just don't let it slip away emoticon emoticon

Getting that close was great and yes you know you can reach it now. Fall Challenge will be a good time to prove it!
