Missed my reflections for week 5 & 6

This summer has been a whirlwind of travel for me. I was able to see many people I hadn't seen in a long time. I enjoyed every minute of it!! Unfortunately so much of what you do when you visit is eat; and eat; and eat; and eat. I have had some great food, but too much great food doesn't really help the weight loss journey. The good news is I am still down the 6 lbs I was early on in the journey. So I may not have lost anymore but being a bit mindful helped maintain.

I don't regret the choices during my summer adventure. Who knows when I will see some of these people again. It was too long to start with and may be too long in the future. Who knows, in any event it was all worth it.

But, it's time to get on with this journey. My goal is to focus on the next 5lbs. My plan: Track what I'm eating, exercise at least 20 min a day and back to drinking more water. All achievable!! So I am off to get to it emoticon
