Due to the heat and some illness and just plan laziness, I have not been walking.
No more Excuses!!!
I told myself that when our school district (teachers) would returned back to work that I would return to my walking as a retiree!!!! And I did just that - but boy was it ever a push.
I had done a great job of loosing weight during the winter days from walking with my buddy, Becky and her dogs

and unfortunately from falling ill.

That was a drastic weight change and I don't want to get back to where I was.

Today was Classical Guitar. Well, it was awesome, as the robot voice lead me through my walk - directions to speed up - encouraging words and after she had me a jog she said to slow down and work on my breathing --- yup having a hard time and coughing!!! lol Asthmatic.
I will add my steps a later time....

When that happens I click my alarm that is set for 3 minutes - gets the

SPARKS is about losing weight, mentoring, being mentored, community support, logging our fitness and nutrition and blogging about our feelings good or bad. So.....
I have been feeling down in the dumps for a couple of days and I feel like that commercial where the lady hides behind that cardboard face - I'm beginning to think part of it is because I haven't been walking (or birding) due to the triple digit heat we have been having. I just love to stay home - I give music lessons out of my home and just leave the house for a few errands and church. Most of my exercise is coming from working in the yard.
Here is my closing funny!
I bought a new Subaru in late March and I have only filled it up 4 times or is it 3? lol
Thank you for hearing me vent and allowing me to post to the cloud for my records.
Let's try to keep moving - baby steps or to our limit as I did today when the voice told me to step up my little small stride!!!!
Happy walking! or jogging!!!
