Actually using the gym membership

My doctor recommend that I walk at least a half hour a day. It is very hard to walk inside because either the weather or the neighborhood aren't the greatest so I got a gym membership yesterday. I walked on the treadmill a half hour yesterday and another half hour today. Even if I do nothing but walk the half hour a day at least I'm using the membership and following doctors suggestions. I'm going to build up endurance and increase my workouts to doing more cardio and strength training over time but for now it's baby steps inching my way to my goals.
