Good morning and happy Monday!
I'm at the office and enjoying my morning cup of blueberry herbal tea, and have my water on stand by. The mug is 12 ounces, and my water tumbler is 24 ounces, and I've already 16 ounces of water before I left the house this morning. I think I'll reach my water intake today, don't you?
I had a great weekend, and I'm happy to report that I tracked everything that crossed my lips, stayed within my ranges for calories, fat, carbs, proteins, etc., and I feel really good about myself.
The one thing that I have to work on more is my sleeping habits. I work a second job on the nights my son is with his dad, and I go straight to it from my regular 8-5 desk job. By the time I get home it's usually 10:30pm and instead of going straight to bed, I end up sitting wanting to "unwind". This entails Netflix and a cup of hot cocoa... before I know it, it's midnight and the alarm is going to go off again at 5:45am to start the next day. It's a cycle I need to change because I'm tired of being tired all the time lol I've conquered food and water tracking, so sleep can be the next battle... baby steps!
Oh and before I forget... grocery shopping with my son was a success on Saturday. We loaded up on fruits, veggies, and proteins. He tried corn on the cob with his dinner on Saturday, and although he wasn't a fan, we were both proud that he tried it.
