Hello to all and thanks for all that came along with me on my vacation in Paris and the countryside of France. I am looking at all the pics and not even sure where to start so I will try to break it down into a few blogs to try and hit all the highlights of this amazing trip!
Part of the allure of Paris for my hubby and I is that this is a city that you can walk for miles and miles. We love to walk and just enjoy the sites and sounds of the city.
We took the metro every single day and the RER train several times as well. They have a very organized system, the metro is an absolute maze with so many different lines and you can walk miles down in the underground where the lines all connect!
Besides the metro, people walk and bike everywhere as driving in Paris is a huge challenge. If you go to Paris, please keep your belongings in a zipped compartment of your purse or in a front pocket for men since that is the only bad thing that happened on my trip. I was able to cancel my phone service as soon as we got back to our apartment, but it was really hard to be without my phone for 2 weeks. I did have insurance on it so it at least I could get a new one sent to my home, but it was a bummer.
The police are out on horseback, bikes and cars, I always felt safe.
Some of the delicious food and wine that we were so lucky to eat.
yum, creme brulee- to die for!
the menu's were often on chalkboards that they put on the sidewalk and brought to your table.
No visit is complete without a visit to Sacre Coeur at Montmartre. Absolutely beautiful as always.
Come take a ride with me!
We had dinner at the Jules Verne restaurant. The Jules Verne restaurant is probably one of the most famous restaurants in Paris, as it is located on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower 125m up.
cool little car? for a little tour if you want, it says lamborghini on it, I found that quite funny!
another adorable little car!

I hope you enjoy this virtual tour of a very small part of Paris. I will post a couple more blogs since I took so many pretty pics. I am getting back on the spark train this weekend, eating out for 2 weeks is a bit tough on the waistline but it would be horrible to be in France and not enjoy all the wonderful food they have to offer. We tried to make up for the food as much as possible by walking miles every day and we did manage that.
Thanks for stopping by!
