Half the calories, twice the price. Low carb tortillas

Wednesday, June 13, 2018

I found low calorie and low carb tortillas at my local store but they cost twice the normal ones.
Why is this?

The fall I had last month is still having some effect on my leg but not too much and it is healing.

My weight isn't down but I am getting some exercise pushing my power mower every week, and weeding the yard.

I am getting unwanted attention from a long distance acquaintance, who is eighteen years older than me. Calls and texts. He can't find anyone to replace his wife that died, and I am not interested. Sigh.

Hope things are going alright for you.

That is really typical, with healthier versions of things and health food they are more expensive than fattening food. No wonder it is easy for us to buy the foods that make us put on weight eh!!

Maybe low carb tortillas are more expensive because people are willing to buy them at the higher price.

Glad your leg is getting better even if it is going slowly.

I don’t envy you the job of dealing with unwanted attention from your acquaintance. That’s got to be uncomfortable for you.

It really does seem that lower calorie/carb foods are often way too expensive. So sorry that your friend is giving you unwanted attention. I would tell him that friendship is all that you are interested in...

Works that way for bathing suits too! The less material in them, the more expensive they are. Glad your leg is feeling better.
