Today is the last day of May. I changed my page earlier this month after I left a spring challenge team. I am taking things one day at a time. I am working more on small goals of my own. Also working non-scale victories, trying to increase my step counts. My clothes are getting loose, but the scale tells me I have been doing the two pound shuffle for quite a while. Don't you just hate the stubborn scale? That is why after years on here and many challenges I am tired of posting a number every week. It doesn't mean anything to anyone, but me.

We have been trying to get the pool ready and it is always something. The "Little Guy" Polaris died again so we sold his pump and gave him & his other supplies to a guy trying to set up a pool for a disabled person. The guy fixed him so he has a new home. We bought another robot cleaner. The dogs hate him as much as the little guy. He doesn't have a tail that squirts. He climbs the walls and squeaks like a Dolphin hence the name.

The pool was clean and then along comes Subtropical Alberto earlier this week. He ruined our planned pool party for my GS's 4th birthday. I am sure we are not the only ones that wish the rain would go away. It was "only a rain event" for us so we were very lucky not to have damage from Alberto. Very lucky. It could always be worse when dealing with any storm.

The grass is green and all the flowers, plants and trees are beautiful. We told my son that they are welcome to come use the pool anytime on the their days off from work & the weather is not bad. I have started mowing the lawn again. We got a new battery type mower. The first time I thought I was going to die. It has been a long time since I mowed grass. The second time was easier. Next time I want to do the front lawn which is bigger, but more level. Baby steps. Life is good.

I‘m glad you don‘t care for the numbers anymore. Staying active as you are, does the best to us. 💪🏻 We‘re getting there! Nice to meet you, I‘m Ivana.

I think some times we rely too much on the number on the scale. That is why I want the summer challenge in the team to be our own choice. Something to challenge ourselves to. I too am working on the smaller goals & trying to work my way up. Baby steps is some times the best way. emoticon
