What my belly said...

Monday, May 28, 2018

Sunday is a bit of a cheat day for me. I weigh-in on Sunday morning so I tend to loosen the rules a bit at one meal. Well, you know, it's a holiday weekend and throwing caution to the winds, I splurged at all three meals. One of them was a meal at the movies and you know how healthy movie food is!

At the end of the day, I told my husband that my belly was sending me signals that I had been naughty! Yup, seems my belly was not happy processing all the junk that went into it. Even though my mouth enjoyed itself, the rest of me told me I had just better remember this feeling and not let it happen again.

I think what that means is that healthy eating habits are getting ingrained and are what my body wants and needs. Well, I mean, who woulda thunk it?

Oh I know about that ALL to well! I also splurged this weekend, but especially last night, and boy did I pay for it until about 3:30 in the morning. I suffered getting up over & over... I think I'm done with eating poorly. I just can't do it anymore.

But thankfully, and very surprisingly, I still weighed in this morning at 225. So I am so grateful for that. I honestly thought I would be almost up to the 230's, or actually back in them.

My weigh-in day is on Saturday mornings, and I also give myself a little down time from being so strict on Saturdays, but I'm starting to even stray away from those 'allowed cheat times' because they make my body feel so yucky.

We can do this... I see lots of people losing weight and reaching goal every day!!... SO CAN WE!!

My tastes have generally changed, though I still enjoy the occasional splurge my body usually lets me know about it...

Good for you for recognizing that! It may take a time for two to remember that feeling though. Been there! But the body knows!

Ahhh yes!!! It tastes soooo good!! BUT our bodies are rejecting it.

No reason why when you go to the movies you can't have a little something,,,though if u go often,, that may want to be a goal. I now go and a friend gets the BIG Tub,,,,,I grab a few small hands of it,,,,MAYBE. It does smell good, but!! Its not worth it.

Today I knew we were going to eat at the mall in the food court.

So I ate very little for breakfast and not much for supper.

Susan u r doing so much better. Keep UP the great work hon!m

Still working toward having my brain, mouth and belly agree before I eat foods that don't sit well. Making a lot of progress, am able to stay away from problem foods much more often. emoticon
