Waverly Hills Sanitarium Ghost Hunting - SUCCESS!!!
Saturday, May 26, 2018
Another visit to Waverly Hills Sanitarium - and it didn't disappoint! If you have never heard of it, it was a TB Hospital and then a nursing home. It has been closed since the 80's and it is considered one of the most haunted locations in the US.
Last year we went on a group tour. It was awesome but there were about 200 people there. We caught some strange voices and lights - but there were about 200 people there. We were really wishing that we were in a smaller group. So, this year we went back. Just three of us. From 8:00 pm - 4:00 am. In the entire building - 186,000 square feet.
We were able see, hear and record so much activity! I don't mind telling you that we were definitely creeped out at times! It was such a fantastic night. If you are interested in the paranormal, and looking for somewhere incredible to investigate, I highly recommend it. Tina (the owner) and her staff and helpful and they know all about the history of the building.
We were also able to visit Octagon Hall - another unbelievable building, from the Civil War era, and Perryville Civil War battlefield and Harrodsburg Fort. Kentucky is such a beautiful state! We love to visit there!
Sadly, the diet and exercise were WAY off track for the week. Now it's time to buckle down and get healthy and get moving!
