Norick is an Angel

Wednesday, May 16, 2018

We got this beautiful loving English Bulldog 8 years ago. We named him Norick and he was the best and sweetest little guy. He loved to play tug a war. He loved to lay on us and rub up on us. He would lay up against me when I would crochet. He loved to go for car rides. He loved the snow and loved to eat it. He loved to roll in fresh cut grass. He loved to play with his Jade. He will be missed so much!!
I went to bed last night and got in my spot. Then I realist I was waiting for Norick to get in his spot next to me. I have caught myself looking for him or waiting for him several times. We laid him to rest in one of his favorite spots as a puppy. He was my husbands best friend and he helped him with his anxiety & stress.

I just wanted to share with you all. Norick was a great dog but it feels like I lost a child. God please help us with the lost of Norick and please take care of him for us.

My Basset went to the Bridge just a couple of weeks before Norick. Maybe he helped him find all the best spots to nap & play. So sorry for your loss.

Losing our four legged family members does hurt much like losing the two-legged type. Maybe it isn't EXACTLY the same, but it is very similar. Each person or four-legged family member brings with it a loss that is unique and yet universal. Nobody needs to judge how much the loss hurts, because one loss doesn't replace or negate the pain of any other losses. I am sorry for your loss and might suggest that you look up a poem called The Rainbow Bridge about the loss of a favored friend.
