Update on Diet

On March 26th I posted that I had started Nutrisystem. I have been diligently following the program but sad the results are very slow. The first week I was on Turbo Boost and lost a total of 6 pounds. I felt it was going to be successful. However, seven weeks later, I have only lost 2 pounds. The ad says 13 pounds in one month. What it doesn't say is if you have less than 20 pounds to lose it is basically maintenance. I have called their counselors over and over again and they say I'm on track. Really? I paid $600 for a two month supply to only lose 8 pounds? The only reason the first 6 came off was due to the Turbo Boost. Of course, you can't get your money back even though they said they will refund. You only have the first two weeks to get a refund, and they were encouraging me that this is how it works and at my age it is even slower. This is a program apparently for people wanting to lose more than 20 pounds. They said the more overweight the more you will lose. Duh! A lot of hidden caveats that are not advertised.
Also, the ad says "eat the food, you'll lose the weight." What they don't say is that you still have to add foods you purchase from the grocery store, i.e., vegetables, skim, and lots of other stuff.
I will finish the food because I don't want to waste it nor throw my money away. Basically I'm just maintaining. When I'm done I'll find another approach. The only plus is the 8 pounds I did lose made it easier for me to zip my jeans! LOL
