No Sugar/Flour - Day #47 - Goings on around the yard ...
Saturday, April 28, 2018
Happy Saturday night everyone
I'm continuing my experiment with no sugar / no flour including products made from them, and am closing in on 7 weeks now. I'm eating three meals a day, spaced five hours apart, and nothing to eat between 6:30pm - 7:30am.
I find it's made my healthy eating life so much easier. My cravings are completely gone and have been. My weight was dropping, albeit slowly (1 - 1.5 lbs a week), until this week where I stayed the same despite a great previous week. I am ready to go down a pant size though, and "feel" smaller in my own skin so embracing the NSV's fully! Healthy breakfast, Lots of vegetables at lunch and dinner and chicken/fish and healthy fats round it all out. Tons of water as well. I will continue the experiment, feeling really good.
DH and I spent the day out in the yard. We burn wood to augment the oil heat in winter, so he has wood delivered by the log-length and cuts, splits and stacks it himself. I did more bed rake-out, a little transplanting and lots of brush hauling. We're finally recovered from the three blizzards in March that took such a toll on the trees.
Here are a few pictures of Springtime in Massachusetts. We had 70 degrees today, it felt fabulous!!
And look who got all tuckered out, running around all day! Our sweet Lacy Jean is turning 10 years old this June.
Have a wonderful evening and a great weekend!
