Using my job...

I work in retail, so my job consists of being on my feet all day. My boss is a fast-paced manager and always moving. Keeping up with her is sometimes a challenge. I know I can use this to my advantage in moving toward a healthier lifestyle.
I am fortunate as I can walk to work; which I do. Walking is also a great way to start the day. I usually wear my tracking watch to track my steps.
I do realize I need to sync the store exercise with my food choices which sometimes are not good choices. A healthy lunch for one thing. A healthy snack to eat before the walk home is another idea to implement. That way I don’t make the drugstore stop for junk food.
I also noticed that once I get home; the adrenaline is still going, so I’m still walking around for an hour or so doing chores. It takes a while for me to sit down and even then ….sometimes…I still want to be on my feet.
