Pickleball

Sunday, April 15, 2018

If you happen to be a senior and want a safe and exciting workout give pickleball a try. I started it mid 2017 and was able to loose 35 lbs to date. I have worked on EVERY kind of diet and program for 30 years and only yo-yo'd back and forth. Pickleball really works and its a tremendous amount of fun as well as social interchange. If you do it let me know...

I have found Pickleball to have fewer limitations with the younger groups than most sports. Both it and Cycling seem to be able to allow close competition and association with all post adolescence groups.

Seniors often get isolated by unfair limitations. Pickleball might be a good game for my grandchildren and their great grandfather to interact. Thanks for the suggestion.

Pickleball seems to be exploding in popularity. If you have not tried it yet google it for your area and give it just one try...you wont regret it. Especially if you ever played tennis or racquetball and would like something as aerobic but a little less demanding on your body.

I love Pickleball. Started playing almost a year ago. I original lost 15 lbs. playing 3 times a week and eating healthy. I fell off the fitness wagon and have gained most of that back. I still love the game but am limited in how many times a week I can play. I now watch Grandbabies 4 days a week.
No excuses. I need to get back on track.
