This was the picture yesterday, taken from the Ness Cam, looking out the study window--
To-day it looks not as wintery out there, but I hear 21cm of snow is sitting on our doorstep ready to fall---I think that is about 10 inches-
I walked Tess, the German, (as in dog)- to the highway and back--then Beau (another German) out onto the back road and back--
-and I heard a robin! ---I couldn't see it as I forgot my glasses but it was chirping high up in a tree-
I think it was telling me that a Spark person had sent it up here to scout the area-
-no geese flying over tho--yet!
So we are still in the "dead of winter" really--altho I did wear a Spring jacket this morning out walking-
AND-----Lord love a Duck! -- I HAVE LOST ANOTHER WHOLE POUND-
Amazing! -----Of course , it is recycled blubber-----
I kinda knew last night as I woke up hungry , in the night-- had to tip toe over the dogs--and go downstairs for a banana-
Doncha just hate it when you lie in bed, starring at the ceiling, not able to sleep?
I find a banana "fills the bill"---without adding too many calories.
It's an UBER day--and I have a few errands to run, before we get hit with a Colorado Low--AGAIN!
There are days--like to-day--that I wish my kids would send a Brass Band, marching up our driveway--announcing that I was QUEEN for the day--- Remember that show?---People would be cheering and my kids would tell me that I was the best Mom ever---
IT ISN"T GOING TO HAPPEN---
But, we can dream eh?
