My life has been a rollercoaster ride for the past few years. I lost my sister, my mother and my boyfriend who was the love of my life. All within a year of each other. This really took a toll on me emotionally. I fell into depression. I was recently diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and that has been hard as well. I am trying to get back to where I was 10 years ago, that fight and drive I had when I started this journey. With the Hypothyroidism it has elevated a lot of my symptoms of other medical issues as well as adding a couple more like fatigue. This is the most difficult one for me. It has been hard for me to get motivated and with the fatigue it is even harder with having no energy and feeling like I am just too tired to move let alone exercise.
I am not following the Eat Right 4 Your Type Diet. This is not a quick diet to loose weight fast or a diet you are on for a few weeks. It is a Lifestyle change diet. You eat recommended foods for your blood type. For me I avoid pork, corn, avocados, all grains except rice and oats. I can eat most fruits and vegetables. It is a healthy diet and helps to clean your gut. I am taking baby steps to get 100% compliant with it. I am about 80% there. When I follow this diet I feel better. I have already seen some changes in how I feel. My GERD is not as bad and I sleep a little better at nights.
I know this time my journey will be harder and take more dedication and focus. I am in it to win it! Today is the first day of the rest of my life! No regrets, I do not look back! Today is good day to have a good day!
