My New Focus: Calorie Confusion
Tuesday, March 20, 2018
My latest idea is to confuse my body by alternating my caloric intake. Funny thing is that when I ate a little more a day or so and went back to a lower caloric intake I finally burst my plateau. In an exercise video designed by The Firm, the authors talk about Muscle Confusion, so I said to myself, "Why not try it for Caloric Confusion!" As long as you realize that you have the power to get right back on track you too can do this!
I use an exercise program that is also alternated as I walk inside on a treadmill and outside with my dogs. I also ride my bicycle outdoors. When it gets hot I will continue to workout inside or early in the morning outside.
Having a track record and an estimate of my daily intake of calories is a must! We tend to have eaten more than we think. I have entries in SP all in one list and also a notebook but I always log my fitness minutes. I add a 10 minute, 35 calorie burning, cool down. That leads to another pound loss every 100 days (35 x 100 = 3500 needed to lose a pound).
I have a goal to lose more weight for my son's graduation from medical school this May. My new outfit is gorgeous and I will later post a photo. Having goals for whatever reason is so beneficial.
Wanting to look good again in clothes makes me feel so fulfilled. I ordered new shoes with a nice high heel to make me feel great when I go out dancing...oh, that's another exercise! My favorite band comes to my area of town every month, but I need more dancing. Yet, another goal to meet.
So watch closely what you are doing and MIX IT UP, even with your calories. The body gets bored too.
Best wishes for successfully meeting your goals. Kindly let me know if there is any progress due to my theory of calorie confusion.
