Due to the anticipated snowfall, I decided to commute to work. On the way back home, on the last leg of the race, i.e. after 1 bus and 3 skytrains, the final bus home (#180) gets stuck uphill and lets us out! Unfamiliar with the area and freezing cold, I had to ask neighbours along the way who were busy clearing their driveway of snow. They all looked sad when i told them where i needed to go, but kept upbeat and provided directions. Walked for half an hour before I managed to hop on another bus to get home. Finally made it home in 2 hours. Truly Canadian ....
YES!! It was such an adventure, and an unplanned exercise, lol! I am laughing about it now but back then it was no joke. I was freezing but glad to come home to a hot bubble bath. Thank you very much for dropping by and commenting :-) 702 days ago
Oh my gosh - what an adventure! Hopefully you had the right shoes to trudge through all that snow and a warm enough coat to keep you toasty. I'll bet you burned a TON of calories on that walk! 702 days ago
