Updating my goals chart again
Tuesday, January 23, 2018
At least this chart tells a different story from the ones I've made over the past couple of months - those have been BLANK!! I had all good intentions to fill them in, but for some reason that I don't even want to think about, I didn't.
My goal for 2018 is to do at least 1 thing on my chart everyday. Out of 21 days, I missed 5 (and I could have just forgotten to add something to the chart that day). Not bad considering I've been pretty lazy about this over the last few months. Of course, the idea is to up the momentum - still do at least something every day, but to try to do give myself 2 stars a day.
My focus for 2018 is strength training and finances. I only made it through 3 strength training sessions (not counting picking up 30 lb. grandkids). I know I don't have to do a whole 30 minute routine for it to count, but I should try to get at least 10 minutes in each day. With all the commercials that come on tv, I really don't have an excuse since planks, modified pushups and ab curls do count.
I really need to buckle down on my finances. I'm not drowning, but I do need to get out of debt and take stock of what my net worth is! I can guess, but it's not like taking the time to sit and actually put it on paper. It's easier to set a financial goal when you know what the goal should look like, and the only way I know to do that is to look at the entire financial picture.
So stay tuned for the next 3 week inventory of me vs myself!!
Strength training - 3
Aerobics - 4
10,000 Steps - 4
8 glasses of water - 1 (this is also my sore spot)
5 servings fruits/vegetables - 8
Save $1.00 - 4 (either I didn't spend that day or I added $1.00 to my savings envelope).
Until next time.....
