Hello Spark Friends,
I know from my "feed" you're wondering what's going on. It's not what you think. It's not "doom and gloom"! I just like being prepared.
I've had my Will for some time, but decided it was about time to make sure the Living Will I have is up to today's standards (it is) and to have a Limited Power of Attorney for my friend who can pay my bills should I become incapacitated for any reason, and to make the decision whether or not I have some disease (like Alzheimer"s) and make arrangements for my better care if that's needed.
I've also made other "readiness" plans, but I won't go into those. It's the Girl Scout mantra of "being prepared" that has been ingrained in my thoughts.
And follow-up good news: My hip is sooo much better. Not 100% yet, but it's getting there.
So the blog is just to let you know all is well. I'm working real hard to lose weight because I know being overweight affects so much, including hips.
But it's especially hard when your calendar thought for the day says: "A nutritionist told me that I shouldn't eat ice cream for dessert anymore, so now I have it for an appetizer." Yikes, now I have ice cream on the brain.
