100 Days of Transformation: Day 16
Wednesday, January 17, 2018
In case anyone is wondering, I still feel amazing. My cravings are gone. I don't miss pizza anymore. I don't need an ice cream binge. I love finding new recipes on Pinterest that fit my diet. I'm down eight pounds. I know my plan is extreme for some but it works for me and my body is changing beautifully.
My chest pains have basically vanished since I started back on the weight loss plan. The lack of dairy is doing wonders for my skin. Without my body wasting a lot of energy trying to digest meat, I have a lot more energy. This is working.
Even my 17-year-old brother is inspired. He's losing his interest in eating meat and is looking forward to when he moves out on his own and can be vegan like me. I like showing him the recipes I've found and I can't wait to try.
For anyone reading my blog I'll go ahead and give you a quick rundown of my plan. No sugar, alcohol, soy, gluten grains, or animal products for 100 days. The reason I put a time stamp on is so it's easier for me to commit to it. I may continue after 100 days, once I see how I look. Most days I just eat two protein shakes and raw fruits and vegetables but other days I go on Pinterest and find something else to eat within my restrictions. Eventually I will have sweets again but I've decided to stick to alternative sweeteners like fructose, coconut sugar, agave, and so on. I'm trying to stay vegan plus I know how addictive table sugar is.
