One of these days

I was thinking today after reading a devotional, about how if you want a harvest there is no time like the present to plant those seeds, then in the future those seeds will flourish into a bountiful harvest.
I look back at how many times in my life I've been trapped in the cycle, of One of these days. One of these days, I'm going to change my lifestyle, but for now I'll enjoy the bad habits that maybe affect my health, my relationships, how those around me see me.
One of these days, I'll do more to be a better man, Exercise, make better nutrition choices.
Procrastinating is so easy and the I'll do it later is a habit that for me is easy to get trapped in. I'm trying to get out of this habit this year. How many times have you gone to a fast food restaurant, or bought cheap microwave meals, and thought, I'll start my healthy diet, tomorrow, which tomorrow, becomes tomorrow, then another and another.
2017 was a year, full of lets start this, and then became, one of these days I will.
This year, after talking with my Best friend and Fitness partner, we decided to make this our year. We planted the seeds of making our goals, and how we'd support, encourage and motivate each other. We actually began before the year ended, but that's okay, we set our minds to do what we wanted, to live the lifestyle, full of good healthy choices, for our mind, body and spirit.
We are off to a great start, and One of these day's isn't in my vocabulary. I make the choices now so by the time the warm weather comes, I won't feel uneasy going shirtless. I know it's still the first week, but in the last 2 weeks, I already feel changes, and I like how I feel. Sore but in a way, I know is going to lead to more.
I want to get off my medications, forever, I love eating healthy food, I always have, but it takes a little longer to cook, my life and health will thank me. My future wife, will love how I look.
One of these days, is none of these days. What's stopping you from planting those seeds, and starting right now.
I've learned much patience in the last few years, and after you plant these seeds, harvest will come. Never give up, never forget why you planted them, then in a season or two, when the harvest comes, you will see how worth it, it was.
2018, I want to be the healthiest, I've ever been. In every way, Physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Never give up on yourself. You are worth it.
