Anything is Possible

Friday, December 22, 2017

Well didn't think I'd be below 200 by the end of the year. Stepped on the scale this morning and it said 199.5. I did a little happy dance. That's 22.5 lbs. gone since joining Sparks People in October. Lost 13 before joining so a total of 34.5 lbs gone. I've been diligent about tracking my food and drinking my water (even though I hate drinking water). I've needed something to concentrate on since losing my husband in May. Sparks People has been a blessing. Sure there are days when I want to just eat what my mind tells me I want, and not have to track every little thing; but I tell myself it's not worth it in the long run. I have no one I have to be accountable to, except myself. Weight loss and health are a journey, but the sweet thing about it you learn something new everyday. Holidays are so very hard when you are missing someone in your life. Some days I just want to give up. But my children are what keep me going, when I don't want to. They are very proud of my accomplishments so far. So I will continue to move forward one baby step at a time. Wishing all my fellow Sparker's a joyous Holiday Season.
