Starting Over is Never Easy

Wednesday, December 06, 2017

This time last year I was packing up my life and getting ready to move in with my boyfriend in the house that we were signing for on the 17th. I was a ball of nerves. I was freaked out. I was excited. I was finally going to be in control of everything i ate.

I am 10 pounds heavier then I was when I moved in.

Because I am in control. And I didn't have a grasp on what control meant.

I came back to SparkPeople this week because I got up to 246 (16 pounds heavier then when I moved into the house). And I decided enough was enough. SparkPeople worked in the past. MyFitnessPal (While an AMAZING site) is not currently working.

I just started learning roller derby. And I want to do good at it. But I can't do good at it if I'm out of shape and not eating well.

So The past few days I've been tracking my food and trying to be honest with myself.

I made bento boxes for lunch this week which has made a difference. Packing my lunch and remembering to take it. I feel better.

I said I would weigh in on Fridays. So of course, Monday I stepped on the scale. I scale. I was back at 240. I'm going to set some goals.

4 Weeks- December 31- 8 Pounds Loss (232 pounds)
12 Weeks- Feburary 28- 20 Pounds Loss (220 pounds)
18 Weeks- April 13- 35 Pounds Lost (205 pounds)
20 Weeks- April 28- 40 Pounds Lost (200 Pounds)
25 Weeks- June 2- 50 Pounds Lost (190 Pounds)

Most of these are about 2 pounds a week. But each date is something different

Feburary 28- Hamilton Tickets
April 13- Birthday
April 28- Best Friends Wedding
June 2- Fancy Dinner in Europe

I'm going to keep the plan simple and not try to go crazy. Work my Plan. Pack lunches. Work out. Move. Plan dinner. Log meals. Keep It Simple.
