Starting week 21

Taking steps to maintain motivation through the winter. I ordered a treadmill so I can keep walking throughout the winter months. I have been very consistent with my healthy diet and am paying attention to my thinking before, during and after food and exercise decisions. I am trying to figure out why I usually sabotage all my hard work during winter months, especially during the holiday season stretching from October thru February. I have been doing a lot of positive self-talk and continuing to stay focused on behaviors rather than pounds lost. I am feeling great and my daily chores and climbing stairs continues to get easier. I am losing my cravings for sweets and am developing a preference for fruits and whole grains. Persistence, persistence, persistence is key.
