A random missive.

It has been a quiet Saturday morning. No rushing around town to do errands. Fun thoughts have filled my mind. I ruminated on each of them for a bit and then moved to the next. Then, I decided I should capture some them -- for prosperity's sake;-)
I like the word "arugula." The way it sounds, how the "r" rolls off my tongue. It taste pretty good too. Tonight, for dinner, I will fix a salad with arugula.
A new favorite for lunch: low-fat cottage cheese with freshly made salsa (extra jalapenos please). The combination is so good. In the favorite department, nothing is better than a toasted whole wheat English muffin with peanut butter. I could eat it for every meal.
Carolina Chocolate Drops is a great band name. A band with a name like that has got to be good (and it is very good!)
Two loads of laundry finished and only two more to go. That is a lot of dirty clothes for just two adults. Hum. Does that say something about us?
Clean sheets on the bed and all new pillows. I can't wait to go to bed tonight! I am going to sleep really well.
It is harvest season in the Pacific Northwest. Apples, pears and peaches are abundant. I am so fortunate to live in a part of the world where you can walk out of your back door into an orchard.
My morning is finishing. Time to exercise and enjoy the endorphin rush that comes with a good workout.
I hope everyone may find some small joy in their Saturday.
