Just three years ago we made an epic Norwegian tour. It helps me to remember that we were awed by the natural beauty of Norway and just how far North we got---way above the Arctic Circle.

Typically I travel for culture, musuems, art, and theatre. But this trip persuaded me that scenery, being out in nature, might be more fulfilling than a great production of Shakespeare or a visit to the Mummy Room in the British Museum.

Reflecting on the beauty of the natural world helps to calm me. I've opened up a deluxe restaurant in my back yard for wild birds and it gives me joy to feed them. My cats are only indoor cats---I would not have it any other way.

In Norway it was such a pleasure to stop for small herds of reindeer crossing our path. It was such a thrill to go to the Museum of Sardine Labels. And to visit wooden stave churches and see where Grieg composed his music.

This is splendid and I can only (barely) imagine the many wonderful things you have seen. (feel free to share some pictures if you like) ........I also love birds, and have a wonderful bird bath for the birds, and hanging feeders, even a pair of doves that come morning and early evening. (Problem is with the squirrels; they have knocked down their feeders and cause such misery for the birds!) .......
How wonderful to have seen herds of reindeer crossing your path. You sound VERY interesting! ... and welcome to Treasure Trove team!
