Today I was feeling especially motivated and strong and during my walking the podcasts for C25K came on my MP3 player. At first I started to bypass it, then I thought, no that has some good music to keep my walking at a fast pace. Well, one thing led to the next and I decided to try a short jog on for size. Seems that my knee is able to take the jarring. I finished the training, did some stretches and felt very proud of myself.

I have now decided that my next reward is to replace my old running shoes with some new ones. As far as jogging goes I guess I will play that by ear and see how my body adapts to it. The doctor told me that perhaps it would be best to stick with walking because of some beginnings of osteoporosis. But I have taken off 20 pounds since then. HMMMM, guess I might need to pass this by him again. In the meantime the first few weeks of training shouldn't be too much since the running minutes are a very short duration.

Could it be that my jogging addiction is setting in again? I was always surprised when I started jogging how much I enjoyed it. Somehow I think when I feel able to move easier I love to find ways to enjoy how good it feels to move. I love dancing around, love doing my exercises, just love being mobile. The body is such an incredible moving machine.
