Back in the swing of things

I had gotten pretty close to reaching my fitness goals, but a month ago I started a new medication that made me gain some weight. It's not a ton, but since I'm only about 5', the effects are fairly dramatic (both in regard to I feel overall and how my clothes fit). The big problem is not the initial weight gain (which seems to have tapered off), but that it messes with my metabolism, so I need to work extra hard just to get back to my "normal". All this month I've been meaning to really focus, but today is the first actual day that I'm making a serious effort; I started the day off with breakfast. I'm normally terrible about eating breakfast, but today I made myself an oatmeal cookie smoothie (spinach, oats, raisins, chia seeds, banana, pinch of cinnamon, and almond milk). Thursday is my rest day so I'll find some light cleaning work to do (not that there isn't an abundance of that, lol).
