Question on Orlistat's effect on Cholesterol intake

Thursday, June 08, 2017

I am on prescription strength Orlistat (Fat Blocker). I do not eat any fries meats, every meat that I eat is either flame broiled, baked, or boiled, and I eat zero pork, or fatty meat. I trim all the fat off my Steaks, to watch me work with a razor sharp Rapala fillet knife is quite something, I have been told. I know that the med. blocks a huge amount of the fat that I ingest, but I wonder what effect the meds have on the Cholesterol that my body can absorb.

I looked it up in SEVERAL Medical journals, and several studies, and it has a significant effect on the total cholesterol, (down), the "bad" cholesterol, (down), and the good cholesterol, (UP). It ALSO has NO effect on the Liver, as ALL the other Cholesterol drugs seem to have. It ALSO lowers Triglycerides.

Yes, maybe the website will have all of the contra-indications.

Interesting question. Ask google? I ask all kinds of things and I get answers. It amazes me that it can do that.
