Ok Fresh Start

I started tracking my food yesterday. I have been struggling to control my eating the past 3 1/2 years without recording food intake and tracking calories. For a while I was able to maintain my weight, but as of Monday my weight is the highest it has ever been. I want to maintain my focus on the spiritual aspects of eating moderately and develop a sense of what is a reasonable amount for a healthy adult to consume. I tend to eat mindlessly without considering the calories consumed and that needs to stop. I feel like a child that has been left to run rampant in a candy store. I have lost all my self-discipline and need to bring healthy habits back into my awareness. I don't want to become obsessed with counting calories and measuring everything for the rest of my life. I know I will not keep that up indefinitely. For now my goal is to use the tracker daily to raise my awareness and develop healthy eating habits. I plan to use the nutrition tracker daily until the end of the year.
