And Life Goes On ...

Life has been so busy lately. I graduated on April 22 with my master's and am now just working on getting my hours - and looking into schools for my doctorate while I still have some scholastic momentum. My hours are coming along nicely, and I'm grateful that I am working at a place I love and working under a supervisor I respect.
I stopped stressing over Rick, and last week (5/31), I sent him a text saying, "hey. How's it going?" to which he has still not replied. I'm OK with it. Even though I still feel myself hurting and wanting to reach out, I won't do it. I'm worth so much more than that, and I truly understand that it is his loss.
I'm spending time on the weekends with my beautiful mother and happy to be able to do so. Since I work 48 miles (one way!) from home, I stay at my oldest sister's house during the week - she's a 2.5 mile drive. It seems to make the weekend with mom more precious because I miss her so much when I'm gone.
I dropped 30# from 183-153, and have gained a couple back (156.7) but it's not bad. I am now needing to tone up, so I'm setting a goal of 10+ minutes of fitness per day. I'd like to get to 146 by the end of the year, but regardless of the number on the scale, I will be happy.
