Another challenge done and I'm not going to reflect because I knew it was a tough time for myself...I knew that going into the challenge that it was going to be tough so I'm not going to allow it to affect the things I want to focus on.
My main focus the next month or so will be just developing better habits again. I know I've focused on this before and there's nothing wrong with taking the time to do it again so that I can move forward once again. There's no shame in focusing on past goals to get back on track.
This week I plan to focus on logging into SparkPeople EVERY day. Lately I've been only logging in Friday's and Saturday's. Logging in daily will help me not to get side tracked and will remind me that I need to work on things daily to get the results I want each week.
I also plan for this week to get back into my fitbit routines. Upping my goal back up to 10,000 steps daily and doing what it takes to achieve that goal. I need to move more.
Those 2 goals sound like a great start. I will add in a week or so when I have gotten those 2 things down pat. I find I succeed better if I keep my goals simple and I don't make too many of them. You feel more successful if you keep adding new goals and hitting them, than you do if you make all your goals and only get half of them, even though you know you're not going to be perfect right away and you're going to get better. It's the more positive approach that keeps me going. I've quit too many times.
My greatest success so far this year would have to be not giving up when things got rough for most of April and May and NOT hitting 300 lbs. Pretty sure this time I would've hit that mark if I stopped being a member of my team.
