I gained 4lbs!!

Thursday, May 25, 2017

So I went on a very last minute trip to Minneapolis, Minnesota. My son was asked to play in a hockey tournament the night before the tournament started. I thought..Hey! I'm out of state, I'm going to enjoy my time in the big city! (I'm from small town Wisconsin.) I'll get back on track when I get back home. Well...I didn't do that. One day, I swear I was a bottomless pit. Nothing would fill me up and I ate everything in sight. Tuesday night, I went for drinks at a friend's house. I hate drinking calories, but hey, I wanted to have some fun. I don't do that very often. Wednesday, knowing I'm starting back to my life style change, I ate an eclair, half bag of Sun chips, 1 1/2 of my homemade enchiladas and a whole pint of of heavy duty ice cream. Now, I blame the ice cream on me. I usually buy Halo Top and I could eat the whole pint and not worry about the calories that much. I totally screwed up right there. But today, I'm starting fresh. I'm kind of hoping this gain will help me get passed the 189 that I was holding on to for 3 weeks. We shall see...Its good to be back.

Welcome back. That's the heck of it, once you have something that's not as healthy, your body says, "oh that was fun, let's do it some more!" And you have to get hold of yourself and get back on track. Now you have those good memories, had fun, and are ready to get back on the horse. Hopefully, this shook up your system enough to release more weight. Good luck.

I'm from Madison :) you can't really go up north and not eat ice cream, pretty sure it's a law 🤣😂😅 I gained 3 lbs over the last 2-3 weeks and am back at it. We caught it early, it'll be okay!
