Tired ...but doing well

Last night at dinner I made a big mistake. I took bread dough and rolled up a turkey hot dog inside it. (At my age I still like a hot dog every once in a while!). I didn't realize how many calories where in one until after....450! and I ate 2! Ouch! So then being 'bad' I went and ate a small cup of ice cream - which was really good. I went over my calorie range by 130 calories. It could have been worse, and if I styopped with the ice cream I would have still been in range. I trying to turn this experience into a positive. Next time, a flour tortilla has less calories 175 verses 245 for 4 times as much. Then cut up the hot dog and put on top or better yet, use tuna and some cheese. It will be more of a pizza but less calories, and the tuna would be healthier. Oh well, it was done and time to move on today, maybe I can eat a few less calories today.
