New day, New start

Its been funny, reading my past blog posts. I've never been good at keeping a journal, not even when I feel like I have something to say. It's not Monday, nor is it the first of the month life the year. I've decided it doesn't matter - every day his mercies are new, so we can start over every morning, or even every hour, if need be! I'm back. I've downloaded the app, which is finally helpful in tracking food. Something different I'm doing this time around is a Facebook group that some people I know from work are on. Its a challenge group for clean eating and exercising. I dislike exercise, but this makes it kind of fun and they're all supportive. I am a little competitive, so I have to do the exercises so I can post that I've done them. The food part is really just trying to be conscious of what we eat, so for me, the sp app is more helpful, making sure I actually measure and keep track of what I'm eating. Its been 3 weeks. I'm down about 5 pounds, although I'm not exact because I didn't start tracking here at my highest weight. I'm still having trouble getting enough protein and curtailing the fat but I'm getting in More fruits and veggies. I still sometimes wish for a comforting snack to easy with tea that doesn't put me over the top.
