Changes and adaptations

I need advice. It's been a long time since I've had to accommodate a child in planning my workouts. I have recently taken custody of my 3 year old grandson, who has understandable separation issues. I gave up my gym membership with anticipation of joining the local YMCA. The Y has a nursery where my gym did not. When I got him, he had to go to daycare for me to work. Even though he is doing very well at daycare, mornings are still rough sometimes. We visited the Y and he just wasn't having it. I'm talking about death grip and real tears. So I just can't do that to him. Maybe in a lil more time, he will be secure enough but he's not now. I am pretty much alone in this. So.....I need to know how those of you in similar situations get in your workouts. Thank you for reading and any advice you can offer.
