Get Back To Where You Belong!

So between the time I last posted and now....I had mono. I was working and I was exhausted. It literally felt like I was walking/moving through water through I everything I did. Needless to say, everything got put on hold for a while. I still worked, the Dr. said I was okay to work, but I had to stop working out. I gained some weight and I seriously was thinking about just quitting. It was nice to wake up, go to work, and go home. Nothing in between like the gym. No lugging my gym stuff/work stuff back and forth.
What I found out...when left to my own devices, I still drink too much. It is easier to give in to temptations, I let work take over everything at home. So even though I wasn't going to the gym, I still wasn't protecting my me time.
My advice....if you are thinking of quitting, had a set back, a gain.....to back to where you belong! Go back to your gym, running club, racquetball games, cycling, etc. Don't let yourself talk yourself out being a better you. Don't be afraid of what people will think. Don't worry about it being hard. Just do it. You will love yourself for it later.
It was hard walking back in the gym. I had gained some weight and lost some of my cardio. I went from being on a winning team, to feeling like I would die 5 second into a workout. However, I'm now back to 4 -5 days/week. I'm sore and tired, but I'm honestly a better person when I do CrossFit.
