Each morning when I wake, one of the first thoughts are I am going to have a good eating and activity day. Today I am going to ignore the sweets, eat my greens do extra activities, and so on. Then the phone rings, my sister needs me to come over and help here, or my daughter calls-can you watch the grandson, or perhaps pick him up from school. Or perhaps one of the neighbors need something. While none of these are a catastrophe it sure can raise havoc with the eating and exercising routine or plans. Always a good excuse for a quick fast food meal, or that not so healthy candy bar. But I have learned no matter what, whether I just trip, or stumble or completely fall down on my plans, it is only a slight set back and tomorrow is another day. And so a new day begins with the same thoughts and goals. Some days I am a complete success others perhaps not so, but I feel that as long as I continue trying I am a winner.
