Week 7 Complete. 17.2lbs Gone

It has been 7 weeks since 2017 started.
I've managed to lose 17.2 lbs by eating healthy and hitting the gym. I'm finally beginning to see the places the weight is coming off. My birthday is about 18 weeks away. There's a chance of me hitting 199lbs for my birthday. . . -2.8lbs per week. . . I guess we will see!



I've done a ridiculous amount of exercise in the past 2 days so I am planning to take Tuesday off from the gym. Maybe just take a walk with my daughter and give my body a little extra rest. I'm a bit sore. Not overly. But just enough to know I did a good amount of weight training yesterday.

My eating has been really good the past few weeks - with the exception of today and yesterday... I haven't done my meal prep for this week and it SHOWS. I had pizza and veggies for dinner yesterday. And today I made breakfast then rushed out the door to work without it. I ended up working 11.5 hrs and eating fruit cups at my desk. Naturally I get home and my family had made frozen pizza. . .

Not very nutritious BUTTTTT I didn't get enough calories 2 days in a row and a fruit cup after cardio is nothing. So my body kinda took a beating. On the bright side - I know pizza won't kill my healthy eating. I enjoyed with out it being a big deal. So I'm proud of my overall journey and the progress I've made even if today and yesterday were not so great nutrition wise.

Ugh. Tomorrow will be better. I didn't meal prep yet but I will tomorrow!
