Which Healthy Habit

So, SparkCoach assignment for today is to blog about which healthy habit is hardest to stick with.
First I thought, 'oh this is easy. It's exercise.' But then I thought, 'well I do have a lot of trouble sticking to my food plan sometimes too. But exercise is still harder.'
And, on the surface, that is true.
But really, the hardest healthy habit to maintain is the mindset I need to keep working toward my goals. I have a meme that I'd love to upload but I can't from this app...
'Fitness is 100% mental. Your body won't go where your mind doesn't push it.'
And that is true. When I am in the 'right' healthy mindset, nothing can throw me off my goals. But as soon as I start to get distracted. Or overwhelmed. Or stressed out by other things, the first thing to go is my exercise. Followed by my food plan.
That is what happened to me over the past 5+ years...and I'm finally back into the 'right mindset to focus again on my goal. To re-lose this weight I've regained. To get off, or at least reduce, my diabetes medication. To feel and look as good as I did over 5 years ago.
I can do it. My husband's support (or at least willingness to workout with me) is a big help this time.
I want to keep my healthy habits moving forward. I do it by maintaining my healthy attitude and mindset.
