A new start

So January 14th I was given a fitbit. Knowing a co-worker also had one I quickly let her know and she added me as a friend. The following week she invited me to a "Workweek Hustle" Challenge with some of her other friends. It is now January 27th, and I am already down 8lbs and going strong. I have a sedentary job, so I challenge myself by getting up and either walking around in the back, or up and down the hallways for 10 minutes each time. My goal is 5000 steps a day, but I'm averaging over 7000. My best day so far has been when I logged 105 "workout" minutes. I'm hoping to lose 70lbs by July, but even if I dont reach that goal, I'm still going to be proud of whatever weight I have lost, because even 1 pound down is 1 pound I no longer have to carry around.
